ATX Visits Laureate

Last week, our owner, Maggie Stenson, had the privilege of visiting and touring the Laureate Eating Disorder Program in Tulsa, Oklahoma. As an outpatient provider, staying informed about the resources available for individuals requiring higher levels of care is essential. The opportunity to see such a well-established program in action was both eye-opening and enriching.

The visit included a series of educational talks from the incredible team at Laureate, offering valuable insights into the comprehensive care they provide. From inpatient level of care to outpatient services, the Laureate program supports individuals through every phase of their recovery journey. It was clear that their commitment to individualized care and their focus on addressing both the psychological and physical aspects of eating disorders are fundamental in helping clients heal.

Collaboration with exceptional programs like Laureate is vital for ensuring that we, as outpatient providers, can better support our clients, especially when they are transitioning between different levels of care. These partnerships strengthen the network of care and offer clients the best possible resources to achieve lasting recovery.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire team at Laureate for providing such an enlightening and informative experience. Your dedication to improving the lives of those with eating disorders is inspiring, and we look forward to continuing to work together to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients.
