COST OF SERVICES

Maggie’s fee is $165 for a 50-minute session (assessment and follow-up). If cost of service is a concern, please contact us and we can discuss an option that would work best for you. Depending on availability, we can provide reduced rate options.

Please, be aware that we have a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. If you are unable to keep an appointment, please provide notice at least 24 hours in advance. If a session is missed or cancelled within 24 hours of the session time, the full session fee will be billed.

INSURANCE

Our practice is not currently contracted with any insurance companies. We can provide you with a superbill which is a receipt with insurance codes that you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. We would be considered an out-of-network provider and reimbursement is dependent on your specific insurance plan. If you are unsure about your specific plan, please contact your insurance provider to see what would be reimbursed for our services (codes: 97802, 97803, 97804). We can accept HSA or FSA cards.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE

As of January 1, 2022, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
